Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) are all wonderful exploration opportunities for young children. In this two-part virtual training series, we will provide you with easy to plan and prepare STEAM activities for children between the ages of 0 and 5. You will also learn important tips, tricks and developmental guidelines to remember when incorporating STEAM in your program environment. Let’s go full STEAM ahead!! *Part 1 of this series will focus on ages 0-2 and Part 2 of this series will focus on ages 3-5. Learning Objectives: 1. To learn developmentally appropriate STEAM activities for children 0-5 years. 2. Understand how to prepare a STEAM environment. 3. Learn how to use household materials to create great STEAM activities. Please note: This is a 2-part series. Part 1 will be on Wednesday, 08/14/24 and Part 2 will be on Thursday, 08/22/24.
